iPhone Firmware 1.1.2 is released but don’t get too excited, there is nothing of great value at this point.
However, it has been confirmed that this firmware update will in fact re jailbreak your phone. Meaning if you prefer to use third party apps and don’t need foreign language support then just skip this for now.

The European release of the iphone is slated to start this Friday (Nov 9, 2007).  According to insiders this will also bring version 1.1.2 to the US Markets.

There was been a wide variety of speculation around Google’s Gphone and today they finally broke the news.  There will be no Gphone.  At least not a physical phone that Google will produce.  Rather they released the Open Handset Alliance.

The application is called Dock, and it’s something that I believe the iphone should have by default.  Typically for you to access any app on your phone you need to navigate to the home screen.  This can certainly get a bit annoying especially if you are trying to navigate between apps.  Well not any longer.

Time magazine announced recently that the iPhone is their invention of the year.
They claim that despite it’s shortcomings namely:
The thing is hard to type on. It’s too slow. It’s too big. It doesn’t have instant messaging. It’s too expensive. (Or, no, wait, it’s too cheap!) It doesn’t support my work e-mail. It’s locked to AT&T. Steve Jobs secretly hates puppies.
That the iphone is still a revolutionary device that desires this coveted title.
