I must say the games on the iPhone have gotten better every single day. By far my favorite iphone game developer is mynumo. They have numerous games out including Blackjack, Roulette and now Slots.

On March 14th Ireland will finally be getting access to the iPhone.
O2 confirmed it will be the exclusive carrier for Apple’s iPhone in Ireland. It will be available in both the 8g and 16g models with respective pricing at 399 and 499.

Apple is planning an event at it’s Cupertino headquarters on March 6th which it coined “An iPhone Software Road Map”. Not much more is known at this time, but this is probably going to be the launch of the SDK.
This event will be one week passed it’s February deadline for the iPhone SDK, but better late then never I assume.

Freshman attending Abilene Christian University this fall will be receiving a free iPhone or an iPod Touch.
The university has developed 15 web applications for these two media devices to help students receive homework alerts, answer in-class surveys and quizzes, get directions to their professors’ offices, and check their meal and account balances among other things.

Apple has released version 1.1.4.
So far no new features has been uncovered. Apple’s official stance on the update is as follows: “Includes bug fixes and supersedes all previous versions.”
Some reports claim the update improves the reliability of Bluetooth, SMS and Mail on the iPhone, and that it boosts signal strength on mobile networks, but these haven’t yet been confirmed.

The battle continues between Apple and Adobe but is there an end to the feud in sight?
Prior to the iPhone release Apple and Adobe were good friends. They did nothing but good things for each other. But now, since the iphone currently does not support Flash, Adobe’s patience is wearing thin. There has been sepuclation as to why it was not included, namely giving people access to flash would make it easy to use VOIP which would not make AT&T very happy.

Rumors are starting to surface that later this month (Feb 26th?) apple will release their SDK (that much we know) but they will also unveil the 3G verison of the iPhone. This of course is just speculation at this point, but it seems fitting. We’ve also heard that we could be getting an update to the iPhone at this time which will include Flash support.
