iPhone Game Review

So I broke down and put a few games on my iPhone from the app store.  I’ve been selective because I don’t want to waste 10 bucks over and over again.  Here is what I have played around with so far.

Reel Deal Slots

This slot machine game is actually really fun, with great graphics.  If you’re a fan of the nickel slots, with the bonus games, you’ll dig this app.  It was $9.99 and in game play includes three separate slots machines to choose from.  Each one has a different theme all with in game bonuses.

Monkey Ball

So far this game hasn’t thrilled me.  You control a monkey (which is really hard to control) who is in a bubble through mazes.  You need to collect bananas and don’t fall off the cliff while trying to get to the end.  Overall it shows off what is possible with the iphone gaming platform but it’s really really hard to control and not all that much fun in my honest opinion.

Crash Bandicoot Nitro Cart 3D

This game rocks!  If you are a fan of Mario Cart for the wii you’ll really dig this game.  You control the cart with the iphone itself via the accelerometer and there are several touch screen options, such as jump and shoot.  Overall the game play is awesome and it’s lots of fun.  Highly Recommended.
