Chuck the Ball

One of the newest games in the app store is, “Chuck the Ball”.  I can describe the game in one word: Addicting.

Keep reading to find out how to get a free copy of “Chuck the Ball”.

Chuck the Ball. He’s on a mission to collect lost stars and he needs your help. With the swipe of your finger, you can guide Chuck, picking up stars and avoiding hazards. Handy bonus items help you on your way, but keep your eye on the clock so you don’t run out of time.

Your goal is to move the ball around the course, in a timely fashion, collecting stars.  The ball is moved around by setting arrows to direct the ball around obsticles.  Each arrow you lay down will cost you 100 points so the object is to use as little arrows as possible all while making sure you use the best route to collect all the stars before the time runs out.

Overall, like i said this game is addicting, especially since you can start in easy mode and move up to hard.

Check out this game in the iTunes App Store

I already bought a copy of this game and I agree it’s very addicting. I’ll keep an eye out for free copies to any other apps or games.

Yep, this game is addicting and engaging. However, I have a problem with the Hard level. Some of the games there are impossible. Will be nice if someone who have played all the levels write some tips. I found a post here http://www.iphonefootprint.com/2009/01/chuck-the-ball-iphone-game-with-a-difference/. There ain’t much information here about the hard level

It looks similar to Mouse About, a game I fell in love instantly. Am I late for the second code?

Ben, the second code is all yours and on it’s way via email. Enjoy and good luck.

So here are my first impressions. The game itself becomes challenging on the medium levels where you have to think about each arrow to put in the right direction. And you have to think and act really FAST! Yeah, the timer is the best part of this game and promises good replayability. I beat the first third of all of the levels and I’m looking forward to the remaing ones. Overall good game, with some additional level editor it would be a must-have…

Hey all, this is James of Makeshift Games. We’re pleased to hear that everyone is enjoying the game and wanted to let you know that an update will be available within the next few days. The update adds an all new “freeplay” mode for those of you asking for an easier, more casual play experience.

As for a level editor, it is something we are considering if the game becomes popular enough.

Thanks again, and don’t forget to rate us in the App Store.
