Ok, this one brings me back to being at my grandmothers house.  You pick up the old brick of a phone and use the rotary to dial each number.  If this bit of nostalgic phone dialing is your thing then iRetroPhone will be a solid .99 cent investment for you iphone.

The application is very simple by design.  You load it up and it displays a reproduction of the rotary dial.  Here is where the nostalgic part comes in, you drag your finger around the screen to dial each number.  It evens has the sound effects to go along with the old phone look.  If you don’t feel like dialing each number you can use the built in address book search.  Once you click on a contact it will dial the number for you. (complete with each rotary turn)

Honestly, this great for a laugh, but useful… not really.  It’s not the worst .99 cents you can send on an app.
