I have found my new favorite twitter client, TwitterFon. This application combines all the tools I wanted in third party app including posting tweets, sending replies, direct messages and searching.

Since the launch of the iphone there have been rumors as to when and if the iphone would ever be allowed on other networks.  We all know that Apple signed a 5 year deal with AT&T, which still has another year on that contract.  However as the end of that contact is in sight rumors are being revived about a possible Verizon integration.

Triple Shot Sports by The Code Monkeys ltd is one of the coolest new iphone games that I’ve had the pleasure to review.  This game is in a rare breed of games for the iphone where this game could really hold it’s own on a traditional gaming platform like the wii.

The SimplyTweet app is a twitter client for your iphone.  Just so we are all on the same page let’s make sure we know what twitter does:
Twitter is a social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users’ updates (known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.

This app is completely and utterly useless but for some reason I can’t stop playing with it. Full Metal Throttle Chopper reproduces the sounds of a chopper motorcycle and puts you at the controls…

Rumors are starting to circulate about a new iphone coming out this fall.  Of course nothing has been cofirmed by Apple, nor will it until it gets released i’m sure.  However, sites are starting to post pictures of what they are claiming to be leaked pictures of the next generation iphone case.

Spongebob Square Pants finally gets his first game on the iPhone: Atlantis Treasures.  The game is being marketed towards a younger audience, which is fine, but I must say the game can certainly be enjoyed by players no matter their age.

Are you big fan of the Rubik’s Cube?  Someone has finally produced a Rubik’s cube type game for the iphone.  Crazycube has the same look and feel of this popular game but it puts it on your iphone or ipod touch.

We here at iPhone Journal recently received two more games to come out of ThumbCountry.com: Escape I and Lamp Off. Both of these games are in the .99 cent category and have the ability to waste some time when you’re bored.

Pipe Dream by thumbcountry.com in a nutshell is amusing.  Definitely something that can help you waste time but not a spectacular game by any stretch.
