SimplyTweet
The SimplyTweet app is a twitter client for your iphone. Just so we are all on the same page let’s make sure we know what twitter does:
Twitter is a social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users’ updates (known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.
Now that we’re all familiar with twitter, this app allows you to post messages to twitter (tweets), read other peoples tweets and keep track of replies (or ongoing conversations). According to the developer, what sets this app apart is it’s ability to follow ongoing conversations (tweets) in an easy to follow interface.
Currently i’m using twitterriffic which is a great free app and simplytweet seems to be a great alternative but it’s missing one core feature. You can’t send direct messages to people from the app directly.

Besides having basic features such as direct messages, favorites, it now supports advanced features including multiple account, account notes, saved search, saved views (groups), conversation threading.
