MMS Finally Coming to US iPhones

Today AT&T announced on their website that they will be enabling MMS support for all 3G and 3GS iPhones as of September 25, 2009.  This comes as no surprise that all first generation iphones will not have this ability.

AT&T has long since blamed the lack of MMS support on needed updates to their infrastructure because of the increased and pending increase usage of iphone users.  I for one don’t quite understand since they are supposed to be one of the leading carriers in the world and every other carrier supported mms on the iphone out of the gate.  But I digress as I’m sure you’re sick of here people complain about the lack of MMS support.  Needless to say it’s finally here and we now have a date to look forward to.
