Hallowcarver by We’re Not Rocket Scientists is a fun Halloween iphone app with a competitive kick.

The app itself is pretty simple. Pick a pumpkin, pick a background and then draw on it and it actually “carves” what you draw into the pumpkin. The fun part is that you can upload your jack o lantern to their website where other people can vote, post it to facebook to show off to your fiends or even post it to twitter.

Currently there are 3 different pumpkins you can choose from to carve and 4 different backgrounds.  The app costs .99 cents and they are running a competition and will be giving away 2 ipod touches to the best carvings
