Morphing Booth contains a database of over 1,500 photos. When a mother and father is selected, the app uses the coloring and features of the mother and father to determine the closest baby match in the database. It does not pull up a true morphed version of the two of you…and trust me, I’ve seen apps that do that and it can be pretty scary.

The app is fun and entertaining, and if you don’t get the lighting on the picture right the result can be rather shocking. For devices that do not have a camera, the app will still work using the database pictures or pictures loaded into the picture library. Once the future child is ‘created’ you can save it and share with friends and family on Facebook, Twitter, and via email.

Tiny Puzzle combines a jigsaw puzzle and a slider puzzle into a unique new game that actually uses the accelerometer to move the puzzle pieces into place.  You start off with one of their auto generate pictures or even a picture of your own and you start moving the iPhone around until all the pieces slide into place and form the picture.

The idea of this game is a lot better then the execution.  I found myself just shaking the iPhone repeatedly until the picture was formed.  Less skill is required vs just the ability to shake until done.  I would equate this to a button masher game where skill is removed and repetition is inserted.

This is not to say the game is not entertaining and the technology behind it could definitely improve the game play as further updates are included.

At this point I’d give the game a solid 2 stars and maybe even through in a third just because it got me through a boring 10 minute run of commercials during my favorite TV show.

Simple in theory you’re a bartender serving drinks to what feels like an endless stream of customers.  Tapper World Tour uses the same premise but takes the game to a whole new level.

You have two options Story Mode or Endless Shift.  Story Mode sets you up for a world tour serving drinks in different locations around the world including the US, Mexico and Europe.  There are 140 different levels including 60 casual and 70 expert (unlocked after you complete story mode).

Endless Shift always you to play on of the unlocked locations and rack up as many points as you can until you run out of lives.

I remember playing Tapper in the arcade and this version is just as addicting except you don’t have to keep dumping quarters into your iPad.

The object of the game is to move the jewels to their appropriate location, but there’s a catch; you can only move one jewel at a time. Sounds simple, right? Once you start playing you will soon realize it isn’t so simple. Jewels can get stuck and you can even get stuck! Trust me, I’ve been there!

I have to be honest here, I never got past the first level. I don’t know if it was because of two weeks worth of no sleeping taking care of a sick family, or if it was because of the NyQuil I was taking when the cold finally hit me. Or, it was just my lack of logic mental skills! For most though, I think it will be a challenging game. I’m going to have to try the game again when I get out of this NyQuil haze I’ve been on lately!

The app comes with 1,001 different mazes, an undo button (very handy,) and a puzzle randomizer. The graphics are good, navigation is simple, and overall I believe it is a great game -even though I was a bit logic challenged! Fortunately, I don’t easily admit to failure so I will definitely be looking to get past the FIRST puzzle at some point!

In this game, you are Bunny the Zombie Slayer. Your goal? Protect the children from the approaching zombie scum by launching egg bombs at them.

When I first started playing the game, I thought it was too easy. But after the first couple of waves, it starts getting a little bit more difficult. Aim the egg and launch. Get the zombie in the head and your fine. Hit them anywhere else and they continue to come at you, minus the body part you hit! Very gross and cool all at the same time.

Bunny the Zombie Slayer gives you three different modes of play (Classic, 28 Waves Later, and Time Attack) and is also Game Center supported, so you can see if you are a better slayer than your friends. I’m not a huge gaming person, but this game was enjoyable and not too difficult for me -and not too simple to bore me. The graphics are so clear and crips, it is sometimes hard to concentrate on killing the zombies because you want to see all the graphics on the screen. And the sound? yeah, the sounds are definitely in line with the game. My three year old was scared from hearing the zombie sounds!

The app takes time to start up, then it takes more time to load, definitely not a smooth and quick start up. You play the game along the same lines of Angry Birds. Using a catapult, you fling different items (cow, chicken, birds, sink) into the air to keep attackers away from you. You can adjust the angle of the catapult and the place on the catapult your ammunition is fired from. You can also power up by hitting some of the items falling from the sky.

As much as I wanted this game to be incredible beyond belief, it just wasn’t.

Unlock 15 game center achievements by dueling and winning against 20 different characters within Morphemial University. Because of the different difficulty settings, this game can be played by children as well as seasoned word game enthusiasts.

I had a good time playing the game. Obviously, it being a word game, I wouldn’t recommend it for a preschooler, like I have. But I could see an older child, whose into reading, being taken by the game. It’s a good app to help pass the time without vegging in front of the television.

The graphics are pretty cool. I like the diversity of the people you come across, although some of the names are a bit out of the ordinary.

This is how Atari’s Greatest Hits works.  You download the app for free and it comes with Pong included.  Then you can purchase  packs of 4 games for $0.99 each.  If you prefer you can purchase all 100 games for $14.99.

If you grew up in the 80′s you’ll recognize some of these classic Atari titles such as Asteroid, Red Baron, Centipede, Millipede, Maze Craze, Missile Command, Super Breakout, Outlaw and much more.

Each game will be shown with the original cabinet and box art.  Loading up Atari’s Greatest Hits will put you right back in your room playing video games until your mom calls you down for dinner.

In my opinion one of the best things about Atari’s Greatest Hits is that it will look great playing it in the iCade as soon as it’s released.  Getting my quarters ready as I type this last sentence.

The basis of the game is that you need to get the missing sheep back to their own, who looks suspiciously like Mary BoPeep. At first, I wasn’t sure I was going to like the game, but the more I played the more I loved it. You have to guide the sheep back to their owner by digging in the dirt, building bridges, and planting seeds. Sound confusing? It really isn’t. But the game does require you to think ahead, use strategy and logic in order to get the sheep where they need to be.

If the sheep die, you have the opportunity to retry the level. There is no time limit, which I liked, but in a future release, I think a timed option would benefit those that enjoy the pressure! All in all, a cute game that keeps your mind busy while killing some time. My three year old killed a few sheep, but she enjoyed the challenge of figuring out which way the sheep needed to move.
