Square Up is an iphone app, currently in beta, that will allow anyone to easily accept credit card payments using your iphone.  The app isn’t out yet but from what we’ve read it seems like an honest way to rid yourself of bulky credit card machines and expensive merchant accounts.

This might come as a surprise to some but even Microsoft is developing iPhone apps.  Microsoft released a version of their popular search engine Bing for the iphone platform.

Are you an iphone user frustrated by dropped calls or poor service?  Well AT&T apparently is ready to listen and has developed an app, Mark the Spot, where you can pinpoint and submit the exact place where your call was dropped.

Hallowcarver by We’re Not Rocket Scientists is a fun Halloween iphone app with a competitive kick.

I had the benefit of beta testing a new iphone application called Redeye by ThinkFlood.  Essentially this application plus physical hub turns your iphone into a sophisticated remote control for all your appliances that use infrared, think: TV, DVD, Cable, Stereo, etc…

GPS Photorino is a great app that allows you to add a Polaroid border around any existing or new picture giving it a very nostalgic look.

Slide-a-ma-jig is advertised as a “sliding mix-n-match character creation activity with 7,962,624 possible combinations” They claim it can keep you busy for 37 min, I spent about 5 min with it but I can see how some people would enjoy this app.

Do you play the lottery? How would like an app that helps you pick lottery numbers, stores you’re saved numbers and also makes it easy to find winning numbers from every state in the US including Puerto Rico. If you answer yes then Space Lotto is the app for you.

You’ve probably seen it before, your computer screen being licked clean by a dog or cat. If you haven’t that last sentence probably sounded really really odd. However, it’s not as weird as it sounds.

The old way to check your spelling on the iphone: Pull up Google and type in the word. Hope that you are in a 3G area and wait for it to process your results. New way: Pull up the Word digest on your iphone and instantly check the spelling of most any word in the English Language.
